Isaiah 37:33 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. MC VC

Isaiah 37:34 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the Lord. MC VC

Isaiah 37:35 For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. MC VC

Isaiah 37:36 Then the angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. MC VC

Isaiah 37:37 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh. MC VC

Isaiah 37:38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. MC VC

Daniel 6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. MC VC

Daniel 6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 4 I MC VC

Daniel 6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. MC VC

Daniel 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. 6 I MC VC

Daniel 6:23 Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God. 4 I MC VC

Daniel 6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den. MC VC
